1. Who We Are

Keepsake is a social memory app for preserving, documenting and sharing the stories behind meaningful objects. Keepsake is the operator responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy requests, email privacy@shiyiwuyu.com. 2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account and profile information

When you register or sign in, we process your email address, a credential-derived login identifier, user ID and account provider. We do not need your plain-text password to operate the app. Your profile may include your display name, handle, biography, birth year, avatar, cover image, privacy settings and account status.

2.2 Archives and uploaded content

We process photos, videos, audio, titles, captions, tags, dates, locations you choose to add, object details, drafts and other material you create. Public archives and profiles can be viewed by other users. Drafts and private records are used only to provide the related feature and protect the account.

2.3 Social activity and messages

We process comments, likes, saves, follows, shares, direct messages, voice messages, conversation records, read markers, blocked or restricted-user settings, reports and appeals. A message or conversation hidden by one participant may remain available to another participant who owns their own view of that record.

2.4 Device permissions and technical information

The app requests access to your camera and photo library when you choose to capture or select media. Microphone access is used when you record a voice message. Notification access is used for alerts. We may receive technical information needed to deliver requests, such as IP address, request logs, app version, operating system and error information, if provided by the service infrastructure. The app stores session and preference data locally on your device.

2.5 Purchases and virtual items

If you buy memory coins or other in-app items, we process the selected bundle, price, purchase date, Apple transaction identifier and transaction verification data. We also process wallet credits, gifts, promotion charges and related ledger records. Apple processes the payment and we do not receive your full payment card number.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide archives, profiles, feeds, search, publishing, messaging, notifications, gifts and promotions; store and deliver uploaded media; process and reconcile purchases; prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access; respond to reports and appeals; personalize recommendations and alerts; provide support; measure reliability and improve the product; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Visibility and Sharing

Public profiles, public archives, comments and other public activity may be displayed to other users. We share information with service providers that host data, store media, deliver notifications, support security or process app-store transactions. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.

When you choose a private setting, we limit visibility according to that setting. No online service can guarantee that a recipient will not copy information that you choose to share with them.

5. Retention and Account Deletion

We retain information only as long as needed to provide Keepsake, protect users, resolve disputes, maintain financial and safety records, and comply with law. When you choose Delete account in the app, Keepsake permanently deletes your account and associated data, including your profile, archives, comments, messages, wallet records, settings and uploaded media, then signs you out. This deletion cannot be undone and the account cannot be restored. Some limited records may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or backup expiry.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or request deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and object to or restrict certain processing. We may verify your identity before completing a request. You can edit profile and archive visibility in the app and manage photo, camera, microphone and notification permissions in your device settings.

7. Adults Only

You must be at least 18 years old, or any higher minimum age required in your country, to use Keepsake. Keepsake is not directed to children below that age. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact privacy@shiyiwuyu.com.

8. International Transfers, Security and Changes

Keepsake and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy when Keepsake, its data practices or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and version shown above.
